Research on the stressors encountered by teachers, the various coping mechanisms employed to combat adversities, and highlights the importance of acknowledging the different stressors they face. This is crucial for teachers to manage and overcome their stress with resilience. Using a basic qualitative research design, this study explored how teachers manage and overcome stress, as well as the role of resilience in this process. The researchers utilized a purposive sampling technique to select five teachers as respondents from various educational stages at Bacolod Trinity Christian School, Inc. These teachers were interviewed by the researchers, and some were asked to participate in follow-up interviews to elaborate on their previous responses. After completing all interviews and follow-up interviews, each researcher transcribed the raw data and gathered to identify similarities between each respondent’s answers. The researchers collectively analyzed the data using the Qualitative Data Analysis Method to generate codes, categories, and concepts, allowing them to clearly and concisely understand the findings related to the study’s questions. The output of the finding show that (1) teachers are aware that there are various factors contributing to their stress, affecting them in numerous ways, (2) teachers overcome stress with external support, (3) teachers employ different coping mechanisms to manage and overcome stress, (4) teachers need to continually sharpen their resilience to model strength for their students, and (5) resilience and overcoming stress have a dynamic relationship. Among the data gathered, similarities can be found among the different respondents despite the different experiences the respondents encounter. Each theme was then evaluated and discussed thoroughly to give a clear insight into the recommendations and conclusion of the study.
